▶ My journey into photography and videography started when I was in Middle School and High School, and the youth leadership program I was a part of handed me a camera and some responsibility - little did I know that one action would shape so much of my adult life. After High School,
▶ I had to adult, and I put my creativity away and journeyed into the "real world." It wasn't until almost a decade after graduating high school that I picked up a camera again after what felt like a decade of adulting crushing my soul. I needed something to give me purpose and passion again, like those times I held the camera as a kid, so careless and free to create.
▶ I fell in love with the process all over again, one frame at a time. Interestingly, though, Journeys like this are never easy, and I found myself at the beginning of a pandemic when was looming and felt crushed by the idea of staying inside all day. Against everyone's advice, I still went out with my cameras and learned to hone my craft through street photography, and an empty town was my backdrop.

▶ It was then that Lens of Lara was born, and years later, when I find myself picking up my camera, I remember where I started and I remind myself about the passion that going to fuel to create and move forward.
